1. Is this your first pregnancy? How far along are you?
This is my first! I am currently 7 months along. I have been wanting to blog for quite some time about my passion for pregnancy fitness and nutrition. I have truly loved taking care of myself during this magical time in my life. There are ugly parts but our experience depends on our attitude and habits in reacting to the hard times.
2. Where do you find the information that you post?
By doing extensive research and looking for inspo from other mamas-to-be, nurses, nutritionists, and personal trainers, I have found some great information that I am so excited to share! I share credible articles, products, videos, and even promote other bloggers on my page!
3. Why are you passionate about this topic?
I truly have felt empowered during my pregnancy and I owe a lot of that to healthy habits. Pregnancy can be a vulnerable and scary experience, but by taking care of yourself, it can truly be a positive and empowering experience. You owe to yourself.
4. Do you exercise at home or do you attend a gym?
Both! But I prefer to go to the gym. When I set aside time to go to the gym, I am typically more focused and do a better workout. Additionally, I love doing classes, especially High Fitness. However, I post about both!
5. Why should I exercise and eat well when pregnant?
There are so many benefits to both mom and baby that I will expand on in my blog posts. Aside from physical health, mental health is SO important and the two are heavily correlated. I think a lot of what you do during your pregnancy affects your postpartum journey as well. We need more healthy, happy, and confident mamas! You are worth it.
